POLICE – Six people injured in vehicle rollover on Old Highway 5

Emergency responders attended a single-vehicle accident on the Yellowhead Highway today (Tuesday, July 23, 2024) in which six people received what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Around 9:48 a.m., Kamloops RCMP were called to the Yellowhead Highway at Old Highway 5, where a vehicle had left the roadway and collided with a light fixture.

Kamloops Fire and Rescue assisted with the extrication of at least two people from the vehicle, which had rolled over.

Anyone who witnessed or captured video of the collision and has not get connected with police is asked to please call the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2024-23559.

    I want to give Const. David Tucker a salute for upholding the law around city hall. Const. David Tucker is a hero to this community.
