Is it up to our Immigration Minister to allow Trump entry into Canada? He seems to have dwelt on the issue of illegal immigration so I think he needs to answer on his own status as far as Canada is concerned.
Free trade seems to be gone with tariffs looming. And we’re being told by a man who was convicted on numerous felony charges that we’re not a country.
Something doesn’t seem to add up here.

People and news outlets trying to counter the tariff argument using rational and logical points are missing the mark entirely.
This is not about drugs or illegal immigration. This is not about the facts of trade and that Americans have access to reliable cheap oil from their trading partner.
This is about chaos. That is the point. It’s about come to me, dance as I pull your strings, and plead your case to me. It’s about fly down to Florida so that I can insult you at the dinner table while you sit there like a simp and take it.
Ultimately what Trump has done can be good for Canada. But only if we finally wake up, strengthen our export channels with new trade agreements, and stop being so complacent with our country. It’s time our leaders get serious about running this country. Hardly anything has been done since Trump’s first term, and the only people to blame for that is us.

It is obvious if we follow the money that the only people that benefit from tariffs and subsequent economic chaos are short sellers. trump did this previously and now he’s really going for it.

I was wondering what Trump is smoking, inhaling, chewing or drinking as he has not done his homework on what we export to the states; maybe we should throw the breakers for hydro going to the states, turning off the water valve that sends water across the line, no more timber/lumber, minerals, auto parts, food/alcohol and the list goes on which we export and close the border to all commercial traffic.
We should start sending back their alcohol, food to start with.

Canada does not subsidize products that go to the United States. The notion of Canada subsidizing the U.S. is incorrect for several reasons:

I got one rather odd angle to the “poisoning drugs allowed to flow freely into the US” argument:
Yes, Canada can and should do more about these drugs entering Canada in the first place, no question. Not for America, but for our own sakes.
BUT … the last time I checked, it was the responsibility of the country people and products entered into, to check to make sure that they conformed with the laws of that country … no?
When was the last time you entered the States,
and Canada stopped you to check that you weren’t taking drugs into the US?
Or vise versa?
Thats not how it works.
It ain’t Canadas job to keep stuff out of the US,
… maybe the Pumpkin Spice Palpatine
might wanna take some responsibility,
for the US’s failure to stop drugs entering his country.
