The City’s 2025 tax sale will take place on Monday, Sept. 29, at 10 a.m. in Council chambers. The annual public auction is required under the Local Government Act for municipalities to recover outstanding property taxes on properties with three years of outstanding taxes.

Property owners have one year following the sale to redeem their property by paying the outstanding charges and interest.

Without a local paper, information on the tax sale now resides on the City’s website at Kamloops.ca/StatutoryNotices. It is also posted on the public notice board at City Hall. Residents who want to keep informed about this and other statutory public notices, such as public meetings, elections, public hearings, and disposition of land, are encouraged to subscribe to Statutory Public Notices at Kamloops.ca/Subscribe.

More information on the annual tax sale is available at: Kamloops.ca/PropertyTaxSale
