An unknown “projectile” struck a City bus on Friday,  March 7, 2025.

Shortly after 7 p.m., Kamloops RCMP responded to a report of a City Transit bus being hit by something while travelling west in the 100 block of Victoria Street West towards Overlanders Bridge.

Multiple members attended the scene and confirmed there were no injuries to any of the passengers, all of whom were safely offloaded onto another bus.

“Despite speculations made on social media, the type of projectile has yet to be determined, and Kamloops RCMP continue to investigate,” police said.

If anyone has information, video surveillance or dash cam footage of the area that may have captured the incident, contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250.828.3000.

The faster we can raise taxes and get the PAC built, the faster these problems will be solved.
