LETTER – From someone who loves the sound of the train whistles

(Image: Mel Rothenburger)

Good evening Mr Rothenburger, thank you for all of your intelligent insights throughout the years. I would like to comment on today’s episode about the train whistles.

I suppose when you are right next to them they are probably quite loud. Living approximately 150 kms north of Kamloops I truly enjoy them as my mother did when she would come back to visit Canada from England.

Some of the drivers of the trains play them like they are an instrument. AMAZING! I love hearing them.

On the Mandate protest, I think it’s ridiculous, I just don’t understand why? Waste of time and money that could be used to help the victims of the fires and floods. Do people not care about them anymore?

Thank you for your time.

A very good question with a very obvious answer.
