PETERS – Let’s just admit it – we’re all thoroughly sick of each other

WE’RE ALL SICK OF EACH OTHER. I think it’s okay to admit that.

Not only has this pandemic made us distrust each other, it’s made us lose our patience with each other.

I’m sick of my coworkers. There, I said it. They’re great people who are teammates through and through. And I’m sick of ’em. The proportion of my time spent seeing and conversing with the same dozen or so people at work is just too darn high.

I’m sick of Dr. Bonnie Henry. I’m sick of hearing her talk, I’m sick of her nervous chuckle, I’m sick of her sugar-coated take on reality.

  1. I surrounded myself with very good people long ago, people of solid character with solid values and morals. I am not sick of them at all. But I am mostly sick of the one denying climate change, the anti-vaccine types, the ones believing the pandemic is a bid joke perpetrated by the government, the ones destroying our tree canopy anywhere there are overhead power lines (have you notice it in the older parts of town? Because you should) and the inconsiderate ones with loud vehicles especially the uberly annoying Harley Davidsons…but I was sick of them prior to the present moment.
