THEATRE – Federal grant to help with renovations to Sagebrush, Pavilion

Federal Transport Minister Marc Garneau came to Kamloops bearing a gift today (May 15, 2018) in the form of $188,000 in funding for the Sagebrush and Pavilion Theatres.

Garneau announced the funding in the lobby of the Sagebrush for upgrades to the theatres. It comes via the Canada Cultural Spaces Fund and will provide new carpets in the Sagebrush lobby and new aisle lighting, as well as new lobby flooring and washroom renovations at the Pavilion.

The renovations will be done during the summer. The theatres are managed by Western Canada Theatre.
