BY-ELECTION – Poll-by-poll results show where candidates did well, or not

Poll-by-poll by-election results released by the City of Kamloops confirm that mayor-elect Ken Christian prevailed at every polling station, but the picture is somewhat different for councillors.

Kathy Sinclair and Ray Dhaliwal are the two councillors-elect, topping the list of 21 candidates. However, they drew their support from different parts of the city. While Sinclair won in South Kamloops, Dhaliwal did well in North Kamloops.

Kevin Krueger, who came third, out-polled Dhaliwal in the south but the large NorKam poll proved pivotal. In that one, Dhaliwal topped Krueger by more than 200 votes. Bill Sarai did well in NorKam as well.
