MAYOR FOGHORN.

It’s enough to tickle the fancy of any political junky, the prospect of Kevin Krueger directing traffic in City Hall, sitting up there in the mayor’s chair presiding over council meetings.

For Krueger, who got his nickname Foghorn back in the days when as a Liberal MLA and cabinet minister he relentlessly heckled and bellowed at the hapless New Democrats on the other side of the Legislature, is suddenly a player in the complicated web of possibilities in civic politics.

I always likened Mr. Krueger to Senator Claghorn, one of the characters in Allans Alley.I,m aware that most don,t know what the hell I,m on about. Ah youth! You will probably find it on Utube.

Not only the 30-millions question will need a plausible answer (tip: there is none) but also the gratuitous rudeness towards contrasting view points will need to be addressed.
And since you mentioned him, the president of the airport authority needs to show a list of achievements.
A duo of comfortably retired pencil pushers on council just for the hell of it…where is the value?
