Coach named to national development team

SPORTS — The head coach of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack swim team has been named to Canada’s Junior National Development Team.
Brad Dalke was chosen to be part of the coaching staff for Team Canada which will compete at the 2015 Australian Age Group championships.

They will be held in Sydney, Australia, April 13-20.

Dalke is also the head coach of the Kamloops Classic Swim Team. One of his swimmers, Brad Gilbert, will be part of Team Canada.

Gilbert will compete in the 100- and 200-meter butterfly events along with the 200, 400 and 1500 Freestyle races.

Dalke is one of two coaches named to the team.

Swimmers were chosen based on performances between Oct. 1-Dec. 31.
