The 17th Annual Wildlights Festival kicked off Friday at the B.C. Wildlife Park until Jan. 4. Local favourite Uncle Chris the Clown will be on stage to entertain the young and young at heart.

The CP Holiday Train is making its annual stop in Kamloops on Dec. 16. A fundraiser for local food banks you’re asked to bring either a cash or food donation, all items raised in Kamloops stays in Kamloops. Decorated in its finest holiday bling the train arrives at 4:45 p.m. at the north side of Interior Savings on Lorne Street and this year boasts the entertainment of Canadian music legend Jim Cuddy.
