Advance voting day for city, TNRD

NEWS/ CIVIC ELECTION 2014 — Advanced is going on today for the civic elections, with City of Kamloops voters casting ballots at Heritage House, 100, Lorne St., and Thompson-Nicola Regional District electors voting at several locations.

Elections are being held in the TNRD to choose directors for Electoral Areas “A”, “B”, “J”, “L”, “O”, and “P.”

General voting day is Saturday, November 15.

Advance TNRD voting will take place at the locations detailed below:

• Advance Voting will be held at the Thompson-Nicola Regional District Office, 4th Floor 465 Victoria Street, Kamloops:
Wednesday, November 5: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Wednesday, November 12: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.

• ADDITIONAL Advance Voting Opportunities:
Additional advance voting will be held for electors on Wednesday, November 5, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations:
Electoral Area “A” & “B”: Dutch Lake Community Centre, 209 Dutch Lake Road, Clearwater
Electoral Area “J”: District of Logan Lake Municipal Hall, 1 Opal Drive, Logan Lake
Electoral Area “L” & “P”: Chase Community Hall, 547 Shuswap Avenue, Chase
Electoral Area “O”: The Ridge, 4936 Barriere Town Road, Barriere
Electoral Area “P”: Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipal Office, 106-3270 Village Way, Sun Peaks

For information about where to vote on general voting day, November 15, as well as information about mail-in ballots, visit the TNRD website at tnrd.ca.

Important note: Electors must bring 2 pieces of ID to the voting station.
