Ontario woman killed in SUV crash near Clearwater

NEWS — The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who died after a motor vehicle incident near Clearwater on Saturday.

She is Lenore Grace Plett, aged 50, of Dryden, Ontario.

Plett was the front seat passenger in a compact SUV southbound on Highway 5 about 8:30 a.m. Aug. 30 when it went out control, left the road, went down an embankment and hit a tree. She died at the scene of the collision.

The Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate.
