Finding new homes for Pomeranians

pomsDori McRae of Pommy Country Rescue holds sister and brother Paris, left, and Bo, right, during a fundraising yard/bake sale on Desmond Avenue last Sunday afternoon. Pommy Country rescues mostly Pomeranians, but has also started taking in other small dogs in need. The group is less than a year old and McRae is working to get charity status as quickly as she can. Sunday’s event raised about $800, which will go toward the vet bills that are a major cost for the dog-rescue agency.
