Murder charge laid in Clearwater death
A 42-year-old Clearwater man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of his common law wife.
Iain Drummond Scott is accused in the murder of Angila Wilson, 33. RCMP discovered Wilson’s body in her Clearwater home Monday morning.
Her three young children were safely removed from another home and Scott was taken into custody.
Kamloops media are reporting that a lawyer appeared on Scott’s behalf in front of a Justice of the Peace today. A court appearance via video link was set for June 2.
Wilson was a licenced practical nurse at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater.
