Can’t beat a little downtown intersection work for providing some fun while driving
NEWS — If you’ve had occasion to drive through the intersection in front of City Hall this week you’ll know there’s a whole lot of work going on there. A lot of pavement is being torn up, there are signs all over the place, and traffic patterns are a little different.
If you’re going west down Victoria Street you won’t be able to get through the intersection — you’ll be forced to hang a left on First Avenue. So if you’re heading to the North Shore you have to cut right from Victoria Street before the First Avenue intersection and then left on Lansdowne.
Here are a few photos of what it looks like.

Maybe this will keep council out of city hall so they can’t spend money for a bit.

Tax $’s at work. Looks more like they are sleeping. Nothing’s happening. What about the Singh St Bridge that was in the plans years ago? If it was in would this present traffic concern for the south end of the Overlander’s Bridge not be?
