Police said today (Oct. 30, 2026) that on Oct. 24 about 10:45 p.m., Tk’emlúps rural RCMP received a report of a robbery at gun point at a convenience store in the 7000-block of Trans Canada Highway near Savona.  Two people wore masks and pointed a gun at a clerk and demanded the cash register and cigarettes before fleeing in a white pick-up truck.
