LETTER – Good examples of where P3s have worked, and when to avoid them

Thank you for your discussion of P3 on your Armchair Mayor platform this morning. (Oct. 6, 2026)

It is a great reminder of examples in the Kamloops area where P3 has worked and, importantly, where council chose not to use it.

The Kamloops water treatment is an excellent example of a project that is better suited to be publicly funded.

Dever would be well advised to provide more context for her P3 preference.
