POLICE – Kamloops woman has been missing for several weeks

Kamloops RCMP are seeking public assistance to locate Melanie Strinholm.

“On Sept. 14, 2026, Melanie was reporting missing by a family member who had not been able to reach her for almost a month. This is out of character for Melanie which caused them concern for her well-being, ” said Staff Sgt. Janelle Shoihet.

Melanie is described as;

49-year-old
Caucasian woman
Long brown hair
5’08 ft, 165 lbs

She is associated to a grey, 2003 Subaru Impreza, bearing B.C. licence plate A723VH and is believed to be parking the vehicle along the river on both the north and south shores of Kamloops.

Anyone with information about Melanie’s whereabouts is urged to call the Kamloops RCMP detachment at 250-828-3000 and cite file 2026-30895.
