POLICE – Man arrested inside Seymour Street business after alarm triggered

A Kamloops man was arrested on Tuesday night (Sept. 15, 2026) after a break-in at a business in the 600-block of Seymour Street.
At about 7:30 p.m. , RCMP were called to an office in the 600-block of Seymour Street for a report that a person inside had triggered the alarm.
With support from police dog services, they surrounded the building and saw a man inside. After several failed attempts to call him out, officers entered the building and arrested him without incident, said Staff Sgt. Janelle Shoihet.
The 32-year-old suspect is expected to appear in a Kamloops Provincial Court in early October. He has not yet been charged.
