The Kia Lounge in Sandman Centre is no more.

The City and the Kamloops Blazers announced today the meeting space is now the On Side Restoration Lounge. It’s all about naming rights.

A new deal gives On Side Restoration Services rights to the name for four years. The company does restoration work on property damaged by fire, water or mould.

“We are privileged to partner with the Kamloops Blazers on this community-focused partnership. Junior hockey brings people together, creating opportunities to connect, build relationships, and cheer alongside our neighbours.

“Our team lives and works here in Kamloops, and we’re proud to support a local space where people can gather and build community,” said Shane Petit, On Side Restoration’s Kamloops branch manager.

No price tag was released for the naming rights. Kamloops Kia had held the rights since 2023.
