Police are investigating a pair of vehicle fires on the North Shore.

In the afternoon of June 15, 2026, they received a report of vehicles on fire in the 2300 block of Fleetwood Avenue.  A car and a motor home sustained damage before Kamloops Fire Rescue extinguished the flames.

“Investigators have determined that the fire was set deliberately and are asking the public’s help to identify the suspect,” said RCMP Cpl. Dana Napier.

“Video evidence shows a man on a white bicycle with dark fenders, wearing all black with a large blue bag leaving the area.”

Anyone with information related to the incident or the suspect is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers and 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) and reference file 2026-19190.
