MISSING – Man disappears after leaving hospital without his shoes or socks

Kamloops RCMP are asking the public for assistance in locating Brent Kelm.

Kelm, 59, has been missing since June 19, 2026, when he was last seen leaving Royal Inland Hospital in the 300-block of Columbia Street.

“Police have been searching for Brent for a week. However, he has not been located and now we are asking the public to help,” said S/Sgt. Janelle Shoihet.

Brent is described as Caucasian, 5’5” with a thin build, long grey hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing beige pajamas, a beige sweater, socks and no shoes.

Anyone with information about Brent Kelm’s whereabouts is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and cite file 2026-19723.
