POLICE – Early morning stabbing on Victoria Street sends one to hospital

Kamloops RCMP are investigating a stabbing in the 300-block of Victoria Street early Sunday morning (June 14, 2026). One person was taken to hospital for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing, with officers continuing to collect evidence and follow up with witnesses, police say.

Staff Sgt. Andy Lot is asking anyone who was in the area during the early morning hours, witnessed the incident, observed suspicious activity, or has dash camera footage from the 300-block of Victoria Street and surrounding area to contact investigators.

“We’re asking anyone who may have seen something, no matter how minor it may seem, or who has dash camera footage from the area, to contact Kamloops RCMP. Information from the public could be key to advancing this investigation,” said Lot.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000. Those wishing to remain anonymous can also contact Crime Stoppers.
