BUSINESS – TteS studies potential for construction of a hotel

Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc is looking at building a hotel somewhere on its lands.

The Sc.wén̓wen Economic Development Corp. announced today (May 20, 2026) that CBRE has been selected to undertake a business plan and financial feasibility study for a hotel and meeting space development.

The feasibility study will assess market viability, development considerations, projected costs, and potential opportunities.

CBRE was picked after an RFP that included several submissions.

“This study represents an important step in evaluating long-term economic development opportunities that support tourism, investment, and future growth within our community,” said economic development strategist Stephanie Tate.

No details were released about the possible scope of the project, or potential sites.
