The Kamloops RCMP detachment provided two vans full of toys to Christmas Amalgamated after a successful Stuff the Cruiser event.

On Saturday (Nov. 29, 2025), the Kamloops RCMP Detachment held its annual toy drive in support of Christmas Amalgamated. Sgt. Safety Bear was on site during the event along with volunteers from the Crime Prevention Unit to accept the generous community donations and jam the vans which were parked in front of Superstore.

In total, the event is estimated to have brought in about $800 in cash and $4,000 in gifts for distribution to children and youth by Christmas Amalgamated.

“This was an incredible show of support by the community,” said Sandro Piroddi coordinator of the Kamloops Crime Prevention Unit.  “This success of this event comes from the support of the businesses, volunteers and the generosity of those who donated to this impactful event.”

Anyone who would like to donate but missed the event can contact Christmas Amalgamated at 250-375-0777 or drop of unwrapped gifts at the North Shore Community Policing Office located at 915 7th Street.
