  1. “Stooping so low as to use electricity as a threat…”
Rather rich, having a president signing so many “idiotic” executive orders, throwing so many hard working US citizens’ lives into turmoil and worse, but calling a threat from Canda outside of the scope of “fair play”.

That’s because such a move would be immediately crippling to his country, all instigated by yours truly.
The dairy tariffs that he is misquoting are a sub clause in the Free Trade agreement that he brokered and signed, say that it was the greatest trade deal that ever was made.
Now he’s saying it’s a horrible trade agreement that only an idiot would have agreed to and signed.
    So which is it?

  2. As I understand it (and I may be wrong) the high tariffs on dairy products only apply if the states has exceeded their allowable capacity of tariff free products into Canada. They have not reached that capacity yet therefore they have not been charged the high percentages. This is very misleading to Canadians and Americans.

    • That is correct. Imports have been very low relative to the amount allowable under the Free Trade agreement.
The complaint the the tariffs on dairy are 250% is misinformation from reading only the fine print.
That’s why they say, for a democracy to work well you need an educated citizenry, capable of reading and critical thinking.

It will not do to do to poke the bear. As the American people sleepwalk through the coup they are eerily like the Germans and Italians in the mid thirties. We could propose an export tax on petrol equal to the tariffs but that would be poking the bear, along with Trump
