POLICE – Six vehicles damaged in window-smashing rampage

The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is looking for witnesses and video after six vehicles were discovered damaged earlier today.

On March 14, 2023 between 8 and 11 a.m., police responded to multiple reports of vehicle windows smashed on the 600-block of Columbia Street and the 600 to 800-blocks of Dominion Street.

In one instance, video surveillance showed a person on a bike approach a vehicle and smash its window, at about 2 a.m.

“We are asking residents in the area to please review their surveillance footage to determine if they captured any vehicles being damaged or any other suspicious incidents that could be related to these investigations,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn.

No items were reported stolen from the vehicles.

If you have information or video surveillance, contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.

Sounds like someone with “issues”. More untreated mental illness or drugged up. Very sad.

    • Triple sad as there are plenty of good work opportunities out there. We, the decent people, need to take a stand against all this delinquency.
