PETERS – Overturning of Roe v. Wade could have repercussions for Canada
IN THEIR CONFIRMATION HEARINGS for the United States Supreme Court, Justices John Roberts, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett all stated support for the legal precedent established by Roe versus Wade.
They gave no inkling that they would team up to overturn a woman’s right to an abortion in the United States.
It was all deception.
Friday, the court overturned Roe v. Wade, a 50-year legal precedent that upheld a woman’s autonomy over their reproductive choices.
Instead of making their decisions based on legal precedence, as they swore under oath they would, the majority of conservative justices made their decision based on personal beliefs.
