Police are investigating following a robbery at a downtown business this past weekend.

On Saturday Dec. 11, 2021 around 4:20 p.m., Kamloops RCMP responded to the 450-block of Lansdowne Street after a woman entered a storefront, displayed a knife, and demanded staff put the cash till inside her duffle bag.

The woman then left, met up with a person nearby, and walked westbound.

“The till was later located in a public washroom on the 300-block of Victoria Street, reported to, and seized by police,” said Const. Crystal Evelyn.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or the accomplice, witnessed the robbery, or has information related to the investigation is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2021-43164.

Photo description: In the back, a suspect is wearing large beige snow boots, a dark jacket, and a grey toque. In the front, wearing a white mask, toque, and dark jacket with the hood up, is her suspected accomplice.
