PETS – Kamloops Fire Rescue goes to the aid of another pooch in need
Kamloops Fire Rescue is gaining a reputation for being the go-to team when canines are in trouble.
The fire crew was called into action again to give a lift to Bruno, a 170-pound St. Bernard who broke his paw. Bruno’s owner was unable to lift the over-sized pooch into a vehicle for a trip to the vet, so KFR came to the rescue.
According to a KFR Facebook post, firefighters made a house call and carried Bruno to the vehicle.
Earlier, they had rescued Bean, a four-pound pooch who got stuck in a reclining couch.

Recently we needed to call for an ambulance. The bill for this service was $80.00. Next time we need an ambulance we will get down on all fours and call Kamloops Fire Rescue. To save 80 bucks I’ll even roll over and let them rub my belly. Stay Safe – Bob
