LETTER – Reduced Liberal support nationally will show in local results
Just read your Oct. 12 column, ‘Gut instinct might still be the best election poll of all.”
Back when Terry Lake publicly mused about running federally, I joked, “he’s going to finish third behind the NDP.”
Now that election day is drawing closer, I’m thinking that might not be a joke any more. I’m not an NDP supporter, but I do think the overall reduced Liberal support nationwide from 2015, is going to be reflected locally as follows:
Cathy McLeod, 35 per cent.
Cynthia Egli 25 per cent.
Terry Lake 20 per cent.
Iain Currie 15 per cent.
With the remaining voted divided up amongst the remaining three candidates.
STEPHEN GRIFFITHS
Kamloops

Terry Lake’s star rose and then set……..save your vote for someone a little less opportunistic.
