Canada Day festivities begin early and finish late

Canada Day festivities in Kamloops get underway at 7 a.m. at Riverside Park with the Lions pancake breakfast and finish up with the big fireworks display after dark. Here’s the schedule for the daytime events.

7:00–10:30 am Pancake Breakfast
Hosted by the Lions Club
9:00 am–5:00 pm Art in the Park
Performing Arts Stage presented
by the Kamloops Art Council
10:30 am Opening Ceremonies
Rotary Bandshell
10:30 am–5:30 pm Folkfest – International Food Fair
Hosed by the Kamloops Multicultural
Society
11:30 am–5:30 pm Folkfest – Cultural and Community
Performances hosted by the Kamloops
Multicutural Society
