POLICE – Second suspect in murder case arrested on reserve

Kamloops RCMP today (March 4, 2019) released the following statement:

Gordon Braaten.

Gordie Wayne Braaten was arrested this afternoon at a residence on Cree Drive on Tk’emlups reserve.

Braaten was wanted for the murder of Jason Glover which occurred on Feb. 15 on Tranquille Road. Hugh Alexander McIntosh, also wanted for the murder of Glover, was arrested last week in Langley.

Investigation led Kamloops RCMP to Braaten’s location on Cree Drive earlier today. Braaten was believed to be armed and dangerous so the Southeast District Emergency Team was called in to assist. Braaten was arrested without incident.
