LETTER – Five City councillors urge ‘Yes’ vote on proportional representation
Five Kamloops City councillors — Arjun Singh, Donovan Cavers, Tiny Lange, Dieter Dudy and Denis Walsh — jointly signed and released a letter today (Tuesday, July 10, 2018) supporting proportional representation.
Those whose signatures do not appear on the letter are Mayor Ken Christian, Coun. Pat Wallace, Coun. Ray Dahliwal, and Coun. Kathy Sinclair.

“Though compromise, cooperation and civility, we arrive at decisions that represent a broad base of the community.”
This letter sums up what the Yes side in this referendum is all about. And by the way for anyone now fearful and afraid of having a government that reflects these values, after two elections if compromise, cooperation and civility don’t work for you, you will have the opportunity to change back to acrimonious theatrics in the legislature and gottcha politics in the media.
