POLICE – Information needed on assault behind Glenview Avenue

Kamloops RCMP are asking anyone with information about an assault behind 2535 Glenview Avenue on Saturday, June 9 to contact them.

Police arrived at the scene about 10:30 a.m. to find a victim with serious but non-life threatening wounds receiving medical attention.

It was found that the man had been attacked earlier in the day by a number of unidentified suspects. The victim and the suspects may be known to each other, police say.

RCMP say that while it appears the victim of the assault was targeted, they released no further information. Anyone who heard or saw anything is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-878-300.
