POLICE – Four arrested in vehicle after call about a man waving a machete

Four men from the Lower Mainland are in custody after police responded to a call today (June 6, 2018) that someone was waving a machete around.

The call came in at 7 a.m. and Kamloops RCMP located four men in a vehicle in the Cascades Casino parking lot.

They were all arrested. Police say a search of their vehicle revealed a second machete, brass knuckles, a sawed-off shotgun and a quantity of illegal drugs.  The drugs have been sent for testing to confirm their composition.

All investigational information will be forwarded to the BC Prosecution Service to determine charges.

Tired of hearing about these types…and what is the solution? Frustrating.
