POLICE – Beware 1,400-lb. bull on the loose near Trans Canada Highway

Kamloops RCMP and the B.C. Livestock Yard are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 1,400-pound bull on the loose.  Last week a bull managed to escape the B.C. Livestock Yard on the TransCanada Highway East.

The bull is tan in colour with large horns.  He does not have any markings or brands.  Police received information that the animal had been seen on the weekend between Tanager Drive and the Pineridge Golf Course.  However, since then, he could have travelled a good distance in any direction.

This animal is very unpredictable and could be dangerous.  Police are warning the public to not approach the bull.

Should you see this animal, please call Kamloops City RCMP or the B.C. Livestock Yard immediately.
