POLICE – Two vehicles, parking kiosk damaged in downtown collision

Two vehicles and a parking kiosk were damaged in a collision at 4th Avenue and Seymour Street early today (Aug. 8, 2017).

The accident occurred at 2:30 a.m., after which one of the drivers ran away and was chased by a witness until RCMP arrested him.

The driver of the second vehicle remained at the scene.  Police said both drivers had consumed liquor and received minor injuries.

The vehicles sustained significant damage along with a parking meter pay station.  The investigation into this collision is ongoing.
