ELECTION BITS – Milobar to open campaign HQ in Library Square

The campaign office for Kamloops-North Thompson Liberal candidate Peter Milobar will officially open Friday (March 3, 2017) in Library Square on Tranquille Road. It happens between noon and 1:30 p.m. “Supporters and well-wishers” are invited to the opening…. Not an election item, but another opening, happens the same day not far away. This one is the opening of the Interior Health Primary Care Services facility at the North Shore Health Science Centre, also on Tranquille Road, at 9:30. Health Minister Terry Lake and Kamloops-South Thompson MLA Todd Stone will be on hand.

  1. What is the street address of each? Maybe it is the same one and the BC Liberal’s are milking the promise?

Admittedly, I don’t know a lot about our provincial or local health system, but why is the North Shore receiving two Health Science Centres? Are the demographics different? Is the North Shore short of Walk-In clinics?
