EDITORIAL – Trump Tweet of the Day scores electoral-college victory

THE QUESTION was whether the ArmchairMayor.ca should keep publishing the Trump Tweet of the Day. The decision is to keep doing it, at least for the time being.

The poll was a virtual draw for and against, although technically the latter was ahead by the slimmest of margins. It was, at the least, an electoral college victory for those in favour of keeping the tweet of the day. And if it was a referendum on electoral reform, it would have required a greater edge to succeed than opponents mustered in the Trump poll.

Besides, if you add in the comments from Facebook, it puts the “Keep doing it” side over the top.

At least, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. At the very least, there’s sufficient interest to keep it going. Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond.
