Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.

On Feb. 14 at about 9:30 p.m. a man went into McCracken Station Liquor Store on Valleyview Drive, selected a few bottles of alcohol, then approached the clerk.  He pulled out a silver handgun and demanded money from the cash register.  The clerk gave him some money from the register and he left the store with the cash and the alcohol.  No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as:  Caucasian; 40 – 50 years old; medium to large build; he had a large piercing in his left ear; he was wearing a brown zip-up coat with white piping around the collar and sleeves, there was a logo on the front of the coat (some kind of lettering).  He was also wearing a blue toque, blue jeans and runners.

The suspect arrived and left in a car, no description available.

If you have any information on this robbery or can identify the suspect, contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
