POLICE – Man shot in leg in early-morning disturbance on 12th Street

police-lights2The Kamloops RCMP were at the scene of a disturbance in the 1000 block of 12th Street early today (Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017) where a lone male appears to have been shot in the leg with a small caliber firearm.

Police secured the scene about 2:30 a.m., attending to the victim with ambulance crews, and seeking evidence. The situation was unfolding and police asked the public to stay away from the area.

The investigation into the cause of the incident was ongoing.
