Man and woman arrested, drugs and cash seized in Tranquille Road raid
A man and a woman were arrested today and drugs and cash seized when Kamloops RCMP raided two separate units inside 689 Tranquille Road.
Cp. Jodie Shelki said the Drug Unit obtained two Controlled Drugs and Substance search warrants for the address.
A 28-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested. Both were released with a court date to be set. Shelkie said further arrests are expected. A child, under five years old, was found in one of the units and is now in the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development, she said.
Police listed the following items as being seized:
Trafficking quantities of heroin
Trafficking quantities of crack cocaine
Trafficking quantities of methamphetamine
More than $40,000 in cash
Drug packaging materials
Drug consumption materials
Three hydraulic drug presses
So sad, please if you cannot be responsible don’t have children. Poor little soul, so sad. 5 years old and both parents going to jail (most likely) so so sad. Think people, think, omg!
