ELECTION BITS – Nancy Bepple gets NDP nomination by acclamation

VotelogNancy Bepple will be the BC NDP candidate for Kamloops-South Thompson. As of the deadline of 5 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 10, 2016) there were no other declared candidates so Bepple will get the nomination by acclamation when the riding association holds its nomination meeting Dec. 11. Lillian Kwan withdrew a couple of weeks ago. Bepple will be running against incumbent MLA Todd Stone of the BC Liberals, Beat Klossner of the Communist Party and Donovan Cavers of the BC Green Party in the provincial election next May 9….

  1. Very sad that someone did not oppose Bepple for the nomination. She really did not deserve the free ride on this, and hopefully people will be smart enough to place their votes elsewhere in the next election. Nancy does not deserve a crack at the golden parachute pension that provincial trough hogs voted for themselves.
