No joke as man with knife pulls Halloween robbery at Royal Bank

UPDATE: RCMP have a suspect in custody.

A man with a knife robbed the Royal Bank on Victoria Street today and escaped on foot.

The man entered the bank about 3:20 p.m. with a knife and demanded money from one of the tellers. After being handed an undisclosed amount of money, the thief walked out.

No one was harmed.

The suspect is described as Caucasian with a shaved head and is about 5 ft. 11 inches tall. He was wearing a brown jacket over top of a black leather jacket and jeans.
