Kamloops man killed in ATV accident at Greenstone Mountain

B.C. Coroners ServiceNEWS — A man who died after an ATV incident near Kamloops on Saturday has been identified as Joshua William Pollard Zapf, 27.

Zapf was operating a quad ATV on Greenstone Mountain, about 30 km from Kamloops at about 6 p.m. on March 28 when he failed to negotiate a curve, and the ATV left the roadway into trees.

His companions immediately went to summon help, and he was taken to Royal Inland Hospital. However, he succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash the next day.

The B.C. Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
