Dan and Jody Spark usually rotate the writing of their weekly column, The Rural Life, which appears Mondays in The Armchair Mayor News.

There’s no column this week due to the fact they are the proud parents of a new Sparkling, having given birth to a baby girl on Friday. Congratulations to them and their family.

The Rural Life will resume publication when they have a chance to catch their breath.
