Should Prince Charles apologize to Russia?

Prince Charles.

ARMCHAIR MAYOR POLL — During his visit to Canada this week, Prince Charles compared Vladimir Putin’s annexation of Crimea to Adolph Hitler’s invasion of Poland and Czechoslovakia. Russia has demand an apology. Should he apologize? Vote in the Armchair Mayor Poll on the righthand side of this page.

I think that Prince Charles has a good point. I think that there is a good comparison when you compare Hitler’ Germany with Putin’ Russia as his comment relates to the annexation of half of Poland and a good chunk of Czechoslovakia in 1939 and Russia’ annexation of Crimea in 2014. Both leaders took advantage of their countries strength in order to expand their own empires!

Charles’s off-the-cuff comment is a trivial matter compared with Putin’s cold-blooded suppression of minorities.Get a grip!
