Upset at noise, man points gun at residents

NEWS — RCMP responded to a complaint last night of a man threatening residents in the yard of their home.

RCMPCpl, Wayne Chung reported today police were called to a home in the 700 block Columbia Street about 9:40 for a report of a disturbance. There they were told an unknown male had approached the residents in their yard and that he was upset and told them they were being too noisy.

He allegedly pulled out what appeared to be a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at them before running away. He’s described as a white male in his early 20s, tall and thin, wearing a black T-shirt and jeans.

No shots were fired and no injuries were suffered.
